I don't care where the ending GOES, what it's DONE is wiped away two entire seasons of the show and said they don't matter.
Barry's essentially the villain now.

Is The Flash comic as obsessed with time travel? That's EASILY the absolute worst thing about the show and they KEEP using it. This show no longer has any stakes. Any time something bad enough happens Barry will just time travel. It's stupid and pointless.

Legends is the worst show I've ever watched. I'm hoping against hope that it gets cancelled or something.

As you know I AM a Transformers fan. But ....I really don't think that is an accurate comparison at all. BW Megatron wanted to change time, destroy every Autobot descendent ever, (even though he possibly didn't realize it would wipe out his existence as well)... But all that aside...I really enjoyed that cliffhanger (watched it in real time back in the spring of 1998 on CN...the only time that show aired on that channel was the last 5 episodes of season 2, for a special promotion)...but what we didn't know until season 3 started was that the writers created a temporary "temporal stability" in order to repair Optimus Prime and restore the timeline.

Barry is obviously not evil. he has just been through so much trauma, he just wants his parents back not fully understanding the damage it will do to the time stream. He was able to rationalize and act accordingly in season 1, but at the end of season 2, he is obviously driven purely by emotion. It appears that, unlike Beast Wars, time has actually changed for The Flash. But of course, I suppose they could go "temporary temporal stability" but nothing has been revealed for season 3, so we really don't know. I was actually thinking that at least for a good portion of Season 3, Barry would be living in an alternate timeline. It would really give a chance for the characters to shine, portraying them with different personalities. I know several of them did this for Earth 2 but this would be a different scenario.

Wow, I thought everyone at least watched Beast Wars. Okay, nevermind then.

Anyway, what if the Flash who shook his head no at Season 1 Barry when he went back in time to save his mom is his future self who had already gone back to save his mom and returned there to stop all versions of himself from saving Nora?

Slightly OT...Don't get me wrong... I think BW is/was an amazing show, but outside of the Transformers Fan community, it is virtually unknown.

With the Tomb Raider reboot now scheduled for March 2018, it looks like WB will have to move The Flash solo film to another date.

The departure of Famuyiwa likely means the delay of the movie’s start of production and release.

Maybe they should hire people who actually know the character and let them do it right instead of making Flash grim dark.

Unfortunately, as I posted in the Supergirl thread, the problems with these shows go way beyond bad CGI (which, when you think about it, really you cant blame based on a TV show budget). I really liked The Flash, and Supergirl, Legends was *ok*, but now I find its easier just to leave them all behind...

The CGI isn't the only bad thing about that clip. The dialogue, the acting, the action, it's all SO bad.

Legends of Tomorrow is awful.

I'm still unsure if I'm gonna keep bothering with Flash and Arrow. They're both on my DVR, but I have yet to watch an episode of either this season so far

Uh what? The CGI in Flash has been phenomenal. Gorilla Grodd and King Shark looked better than low budget films.

Anyway, yeah, Legends was crap. The only reason I'm going to watch season 2 is because of the four part crossover. Supergirl's second season has been excellent so far. This IS Superman! The guy they picked for him is perfect and makes it embarassing to look at the movie version.

What pandering? And what would the point of Supergirl be if Superman were to be in her show full time? It's called Supergirl, NOT THe Adventures of Supergirl and Superman.

The Flash is by far the best TV show currently airing. It will remain that way until Better Call Saul's new season starts in Feb.

23 episodes, which I will agree is a little much as even the writers seem to struggle with it.

As for the third season of Flash, the premier was kind of a let down despite it feeling more like what Geoff Johns was originally planning to do with Flashpoint, but the second episode

Aside from that and Mirror Master being kind of a let down (minor nitpicks from me though) this season has been great so far. Granted, we're still only in the early half and Arrow has really fumbled the ball in the second half of their shows over the last two seasons, so there is still time to screw it up, but I think Johns is going to ensure that doesn't happen.

I do think they are stretching their writers thin though by working on four series. I also feel Legends did not need to a second season. In fact, based on the trailers for the second season there seems to be this, "Oh crap, we got renewed for a second season, what the hell do we do?" feel going on. Hopefully this will be the final season of Arrow (which has been hit or miss so far) and Legends gets canned so they can just focus on Flash and Supergirl next year.

The CGI was pretty bad for Legends though. Like why the hell did they have to CGI Not-Giant Man when they could have just super imposed Atom?
