I've been watching the DC tv-verse courtesy Netflix lately. I started with Arrow and it took me a while to get into it. The first half of season one was pretty slow so I just kinda plodded through with maybe an episode or two a month. But it picked up in the second half and I started watching more frequently. Then season two was really good. I'm now about 8 episodes in to season 3 as well as season 1 of The Flash. And thanks to Wikipedia I'm watching everything in proper order so all the crossover stuff doesn't get jumbled up. And OMG the crossover episodes! They have been SOO fun! I haven't enjoyed a tv series this much since the last doctor who season. And with that being what feels like ages ago I've been pining for a good action/adventure and sci-fi show. Can't wait to add super girl next season. I know some of the shows supposedly go downhill in later seasons but I'm loving the heck out of it right now. And as much fun as it was to see Flash and Arrow go head to head as well as team up, the interactions between all the supporting cast/backup teams might be the best part about all the crossover episodes.

Glad you are having fun with it. For me S1 of Flash, and S2 of Arrow were peaks IMHO. and I absolutely adored Supergirl in its first season. Legends was always kind of...*meh*, but something happened starting with the fall 2016 season, I had to put all those shows behind me, the stories just took a steep steep decline, and weren't fun anymore. I thought about watching the 4-part "Invasion" crossover, but I decided against it, I've made my peace with it.

I feel like they stretched the budget quite a bit in season two, which might be why it's already over compared to the other three shows, so I have my doubts there. On the other hand, the CW DC shows are also getting more comfortable with less emphasis on CGI, as seen in all the use of a practical Savitar suit in his last appearance on The Flash, or with Martian Manhunter on Supergirl. So maybe they'd lean harder on practical effects?

Kamandi might also simply not be brought up in the same kind of world as in the comics. Given the way Legends ended, I could see what they show there as an alternative, at the expense of that insane future and its characters.

So I'm a bit confused. I'm on arrow season 4, and all the associated seasons of the other shows. In a recent episode of Arrow, they're dealing with Thea's bloodlust and mention how Sarah was made whole by Constantine, thus not suffering from the bloodlust (unlike Thea). Then, in the very next episode of Legends of Tomorrow, Sarah goes on a wild killing spree and blames it on the bloodlust, which is a recurring theme in the following legends episode too. So which is it? Was Sarah cured of the bloodlust when she was resurrected or not?

Did I miss something? Or is the continuity between the different D.C. shows really that bad?

Arrow Season 4 is a mess, but Sarah was cured of it by Constantine.

As for Legends, I want to agree with canof, buuuuuuuuuuuuut, then you wouldn't understand anything going on with the crossover.

Well that's disappointing. I actually really like legends, in concept. It's kind of like DC's in house version of doctor who. But in execution, its definately lacking. I think a lot of it has to do with gathering up some of the worst supporting actors from the other shows and making them leads. That and the lousy writing.

But still, I can't say it's the worst show on tv (yet). I actually like the villain quite a bit. And the period settings have been quite fun when they really ham it up. I'll stick with it for now, but I'm definately more excited when a Flash or Supergirl episode is next on the list.

Axtually the George Lucas stuff was one of the few things that was done well in Legends. Stop being dramatic for the sake of it.

I'm not being dramatic just for the sake of it, whatever that means. The first season of Legends of Tomorrow was the absolute worst season of television I've ever completed. The Lucas bits I saw? Horrifyingly bad. Literally anyone could do a better Lucas than the person they picked, and it was appallingly written, like the rest of the show which casually puts interracial couples into the 50s and other ridiculous anachronisms that show how lazy the show is. It's putrid. My wife quit on it around like episode...6 or 7, and I only kept up to commiserate with some friends who were sticking with it.

If Legends was the worst thing you have ever watched on TV, then you haven't really watched much of anything. However, I'm going to stop there because I don't really want to spend time actually defending Legends when it isn't worth it.

The Supergirl trailer[?] was pretty dull except for the few bits at the beginning about her secret identity being a mistake. The Flash trailer is good, much more engaging.

That Supergirl trailer was crap. It told me nothing. It was just stock Inception trailer music with people's reaction faces, but nothing they are acting too.
