I mean, if they can make a movie that doesn't reference the first one in any real way and just have it feel like a TMNT adventure and just be a good, fun movie, I'd honestly be back on board.

^ It's hard for me to imagine a much improved reboot coming from the same company... but hey, didn't Platinum Dunes make A Quiet Place? Maybe they're on the upswing, quality-wise.
The second TMNT reboot film from two years ago was actually fun. I mean, it was still bad and had egregious flaws but the TMNT themselves (and Bebop and Rocksteady) were a lot of fun and it was watchable junk as opposed to the first film's unwatchable junk.

Yeah, for all their flaws, I found the recent TMNT films to be pretty fun. I'd be up for a 3rd (and final) set in that world than another reboot, especially so soon.

I hated the first one, but found the second to be basically more or less on-par with Secret of the Ooze (Which, let's be honest, is a crap movie. It's just fun) so as long as they kept pushing in that direction, I'd be cool with it.

I want them to adapt Soul's Winter!
It'll never happen, but, darn it, a boy can dream!

Someone unrelated, but I've seen the first several episodes of the new animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I know that there was controversy over the radically altered designs and the seemingly more comic take, but even though it's sillier it's still an action-oriented show, and the fight animation is pretty darn great. Making each of the four turtles a different species of turtle is such an obvious idea that I'm frankly surprised no one has ever tried that before. Also, I like the emphasis on the mystical aspects of ninja, which is the main thing that seems to set this new cartoon apart from all previous versions. In short, the kids of today have had two incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in cartoons that are both vastly Superior to the one I grew up with.

^They were just in the same fishbowl, and ended up as brothers. They don't have to be related by blood.
