I thought Le Studio Canal was gonna do this with Kadokawa? Guess that's what happens when you sit on a franchise for so long. Guess it's for the better, thoug hI hope this one retains what was promised - a stylized manga-based film like Casshern....just not like Casshern, if you get my drift.

As entertaining as that movie was, it was also hella perverted. Not as perverted as wicked city, but not far from it. Good lord, I have hard time sitting through those movies now.

I really didn't care for Ninja Scroll at all. It was sort of entertaining, but I can think of a thousand things I'd rather watch.

Ninja Scroll would make a great action film, so I'm all for it. It doesn't even need to stick close to the original material as long as they get the characters right (specifically Jubei and the old spy dude).
