I honestly think What Jackie Chan needs to do is a Shanghai Noon/Rush Hour crossover. Have it involve time travel so cowboy Owen Wilson meets up with Chris Tucker and there are two Jackie Chans running about. I'd watch the hell out of that.

I'm fine with the ending in Rambo (still wish it was theatrically released as John Rambo) but dat title man, mmmmmmm. So good. It'd almost be a shame NOT make one more movie just to end it with that title.

My friend, a fan of the series, saw it the other day and really didn't like it. Said it was almost like the film was afraid to connect itself to the past films or the character. That it wouldn't take much for this to be a non-Rambo Stallone revenge/Taken rip-off, even then it wouldn't have been that good because the movie doesn't really make you care about the niece. An extended cut might be better, like Rambo 4, but he's not holding out hope.

it's getting torn up by the critics but it the seems that the politics of it seem to be forefront in many of the reviews I've seen (describing it as anti-Mexican rather than anti-crime) -- I enjoyed the 4th film, so I will see it eventually, but I am also curious to see how it ages outside of the current political climate.

I feel like a last Rambo movie should deal with things like PTSD and homeless vets... you know, the themes from the first movie? Bring things full circle?
