Wow! O_O I can't wait to see this! It looks like it'll be fun. Not GOOD, mind you, but a big fun stupid action movie. Come on, everybody likes to indulge themselves with mindless action every so often, right? With its effects and the sheer coolness of the idea (Dragons v. US Army in LA sounds like a winner to me), I'll expect it to do... okay. It's not going to tank, but I doubt it'll be a runaway hit. It'll probably do about as well as every other B-level action movie, meaning it'll do well enough to make back its budget and maybe JUST BARELY enough to warrant a sequel, but nowhere near a hit.
I could be wrong though. If they do this right, enough one-liners and awesome destruction/fight scenes, it might make get a following. ^_^

I actually find myself feeling a little sorry for D-WAR. Here's this giant monster movie that's been in production for years, that's been the subject of everything from anticipation to ridicule, that many (including myself) have wondered if it would ever actually see the light of day, and now here it is finally getting a major release yet it's already been completely overshadowed by the trailer and viral marketing mystery for a certain JJ Abrams-produced giant monster movie.

Moonlight SY-3 :
On the press Q&A session on July 23(on which the Korean press screening of D-WAR was held), Hyung-rae Shim said that he is planning to release the film in Japan in winter. He also said that he is aiming for around 500 screens across Japan.
Showbox confirmed that D-WAR is scheduled to be released in three countries this year : South Korea, United States and Japan.

[quote="Flame of Udin"]D-War has finally been kicked out of the no. 1 spot....however it is still sitting comfortably at no. 2 for last week. Notice how it knocked out newcomer 'The Simpson Movie' among others.

saw the trailer. it did nothing for me at all. i'd like to want to see the movie, but it all looks like more of the same stuff we've gotten for the last ten years.
