What will you do after you finish with Godzilla? Might I suggest other Toho kaiju movies such as Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas, King Kong Escapes, etc? Afterwards maybe also the Gamera films?

I think you nailed the review. I didn't really disagree with your overall pros and cons list - the comparison to MZ was warranted in terms of monster screen time, but MZ also features far more interesting characters than G14. I'm also more critical of Desplat's boring score - the main theme is fine, but everything else falls flat.
