At the suggestion of a fellow member, I've decided to start a companion thread to the Cool Pictures Thread, this one showcasing videos.

It surprised me that no one had ever done it before,so I jumped at the opportunity and came up with this last night. Enjoy!

Sadly I don't know of a link, but I've always heard about the alternate take of Ghidorah's birth from Ghidrah The Three Headed Monster. I'd love to see that if anyone knows where to find it...

Yes, his channel is really nice. There are a lot of rare trailers and TV spots too.

I remember when these popped up a year or so ago. Very cool.

The U.S. trailers for all the Showa films. Sure, we've seen a few of 'em over and over again through the years, but several were completely new to me. These videos have been chopped up into their component trailers and put on youtube, but here's where they originated.

actually, here's where they originated:

(btw, I've updated and improved the DVD so it has menus and has been changed a little bit here and there).

Here's what seems to be footage from the Godzilla: Monster Planet ride. Not really much to wow about, but I'd never seen it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Hesei Godzilla is the definitive Godzilla, at least to me.

I've seen some footage (including workprints and outtakes!) from Godzilla: Monster Planet eons ago! Even now, I think it has better SPFX than the VS Series itself!

Wow, no kidding! If the rest of the VERSUS series looked like that I don't think I'd b*tch about it as much.

Yeah, that was my initial reaction. There's some really cool angles in there when Godzilla's destroying stuff.

Especially that last scene at the end, where we see all those buildings.

Okay, I read all these replies praising the effects in the Monster Planet clip, and then I look at it...and it looks just like the rest of the '90s films to me. There are some unique camera angles and a number of shots look really good, but it's all par for the course as far as effects work is concerned. Or maybe I'm just blind, I dunno.

Well I think the camera angles are the only things worthy of praise, and to me it's like one shot specifically.

It's also what looks like outdoor footage (with the scene of Godzilla smashing that building), and Godzilla's footsteps heading towards the camera, not to mention the full daytime shots of Godzilla raging at a flying Mothra! This is much more spectacular than the bland nighttime stuff from most of the movies, and that's just scary. I wish Kawakita could've done more of this.

So it seems you can get a message on the J version of Godzilla Battle Legends for the Turbo Duo that has sprites of Minlla and Jet Jaguar. I don't know if the message is saying they are in the game and it's telling you how to get them or it's showing that they were planned but latter dropped the sprites were left in or what.

Can anyone who reads Japanese can you please translate what it's saying? Thank you in advance.
