Not if those thieving ba$tards from UCLA have anything say about it!

And before anyone says "Pfft, UCLA has nothing do with those movies. You clearly know nothing about the business." I'll just clear the air right now...that was a joke!

...In an attempt to get this topic back on track, I figured I'd share some stuff that I posted over at another forum on a topic dealing with alternate versions of Toho films, specifically English versions. Here are some of the title screens for selected alternate versions.

TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA (International version)

EBIRAH, HORROR OF THE DEEP (International version)

INVASION OF THE ASTRO MONSTERS (International version)

(The next few were originally posted by Tamura, aka SeaHawk on here)

GOJIRA (German version)

SECRET OF THE TELEGIAN (International version)

GODZILLA VS. GIGAN (original International version)

BYE-BYE JUPITER (International version)

GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH (International version)

GODZILLA VS. MOTHRA (International version)

THE LAST WAR (US TV version)

GODZILLA VS. MEGALON (International version)

PROPHECIES OF NOSTRADAMUS (International version)

If anybody has any English title screens for the DRACULA films, that would be sweet. :D

I love how they just stamped the english over the kanji in the Heisei films. It's hard to even read it.

yes, good graphics seem to elude these distributors, for the most part. :?

The GIGANTIS one looks best. Amazing what a simple little dropshadow (just a sliver, mind you) achieves. :D

the box art for Godzilla Raids Again (the old VHS edition) is possibly the most epic thing on the face of the earth...unfortunately, the movie couldn't cash the check that said box art had written to the 8-year old version of me...
