^I like how the artist made Godzilla look more like his Showa incarnation.

Well tough.

Here are portions of the comic book included in the "Godzilla vs Destroyah Big Encyclopedia" (12/25/95), showing some stuff that didn't quite end up in the finished film.

Destroyah's chest ray - unused in the movie - dishes some serious damage to Godzilla's tail and back fins:

Godzilla's meltdown vaporizes Destroyah:

Impressive photos that you have here. Shame about the chest weapon not being in the actual finished film but perhaps glad that the tail problem wasn't in there.

Why oh why didn't we get the chest ray? That would have been so awesome.

Also, seeing how the plan was for G's meltdown to finish off Destroyah, I still hate it that they didn't let Godzilla kill Destroyah. Come on guys, it's his last movie, let him do the bad guy in!

OMFG  I've never caught that!

Why would they leave that in?? WHY? :x It's absolutely ridiculous. They could have cut right before it ripped or just trashed it or just used some stock footage flipped around! Insane.

I guess you guys miss the Cinemassacre stuff last year when James takes a look at all the Godzilla movies. We knew about the tail thing since then.

MMmmmmm... an actual gem among the slippery slope of the fan-rant medium (Oh yeah... Gotta love the sweet elixir of opinions mixed with colloquialisms)???

BUT how... HOW could I miss THAT a year ago? Why didn't someone tell me these things????

I'm gonna go cut myself now.

Those pics are awesome, August! Thanks for sharing them!

I especially think the first two are very beautiful shots of King Ghidorah.

I really think the movie and the suit Godzilla Raids Again are alot better than most people give them credit for...something sinister about the suit even just seeing it's profile from behind you can tell he wants to mess that castle up!

The profile is the only side I care for with that suit. :?
