if you had the chance to do a novelization of the Gamera trilogy what would you change to improve the plots of all three stories?

Get rid of the Emo nature and pseudo Hentai relationship between the antagonist female and Irys in GIII. Also I'd give Asagi Kusanagi a more consistent portrayal in II & III as her role seemed to diminish in each successive film.

Give GII more of an actual story, as opposed to just a mechanical plot.
Don't get me wrong, I love GII, but it's pretty thin compared to the other two entries.

Ambiguity is great, but nevertheless I'd be crazy interested in if Kaneko or Ito actually worked on a novel or supplemental work that dig into the copious world building that's obviously in the Gamera trilogy.
... hell, I don't read Japanese. I'm sure a wealth of such information exists in those 'making of' and 'art of' books published in Japan.

i would have Irys talk with Ayana on multiple occasions to whip up anger against Gamera and mistrust to everyone else around her.

Wow, you know what I'd like more than a novelization?
I was just thinking about Netflix's success with Dreamworks animated series like Trollhunters and Voltron (and now the upcoming She-Ra) and I think Gamera would make a great series of that ilk - perhaps CGI in the style of Trollhunters. I think using the Heisei movies as a starting point could make for a good series: Asagi getting the comma-shaped amulet and the Gamera/Gyaos created by Atlantis backstory and mana being a major plot point. Later you could start expanding and bringing in other monsters; maybe Zedus, Jiger, and Barugon are other Atlantian experiments? If the low-level of the Earth's mana attracted Legion than it could also attract Zigra and Viras, right?

^While, I'm assuming comparable quality to the series I mentioned, naturally! Kong was a much more low-rent affair.
