I vote that they try to out-dark and out-gritty everyone else by having Gamera fight against a psychic monster... made of people!

It will definitely be suits with a mix of cgi considering its the producers of Kamen Rider. Hopefully the effects will improve over Kaneko's trilogy.
Other than that, I think its gonna be an action packed roller coaster ride. I have a feeling Gamera is gonna be a kaiju superhero in the lines of Man of Steel or Avengers.

We're 20 years post Jurassic Park, there is no excuse for poor cgi on the silver screen these days.
Kaneko's mix of cgi was great but I dont know if they'll be able to get his spfx director back (Higuchi) or his student that did SPFX in GMK.
As long as they don't put a body over for the flight scenes.

I am hoping for either a revamped Barugon, Guiron, or a whole new kaiju. Please, no Gyaos. I love Gyaos and all, but they had their times to shine in the Heisei era and the stint in G:TB.

As I said before, I'd love to see a new monster but I'll be pretty disappointed if Gyaos isn't included in at least a minor role like he was in Guiron, G3, or Gamera the Brave.

I dunno about out of style as much as I don't think enough people are familiar with Daiei's roster...hell, I've never seen any of the Yokai films.

Although I wonder if the novelty, weirdness, and kitchen sink-ness of the concept might appeal. Probably not broadly enough to bother with the concept.

Maybe for the new movie he could have 2 villains, one minor and one major. Instead of it always being Gyaos how about making the minor villain as another of his previous foes but updated....Baragon? Jiger?
