Tsuburaya Pro Launches KAIJU MUSUME 6 Restaurant in Tokyo
A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE
Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd., in cooperation with THINKR Co., Ltd., will open the entertainment restaurant KAIJU MUSUME 6 this Friday, January 26th. The limited-run establishment will be open in Tokyo’s Roppongi district for one year only.
KAIJU MUSUME 6 is the latest step in Tsuburaya’s “ULTRA KAIJU HUMANIZATION PROJECT”, a promotional campaign in which monsters from the Ultraman Series are re-imagined as as young women and schoolgirls. The line includes the anime series KAIJU GIRLS (怪獣娘 [かいじゅうがーるず], Kaijuu Musume [Kaijuu Gaaruuzu]), a manga serialized in Kadokawa Publishing’s Dengeki G’s Magazine (電撃G’sマガジン), plus novels, apparel, videos and collectibles.
KAIJU MUSUME 6 will allow customers to experience the world of the new “Ultra Monster animation plan” with monster-themed food and drink. The look of the restaurant and employee uniforms have been designed by freelance illustrator, Utomaru, giving fans a chance to interact with three-dimensional “Kaiju Girls”. In addition to performances by the staff, there will be light and music shows and “Kaiju Clap Times” held each day. Customers are also invited to look for hidden Ultra characters in private rooms in the restaurant.
